Before another week begins...

Before new conversations are started...

Before new members arrive...

Before another coach sets off on its next adventure...

Let's pause for just a moment.

Not to stand still.

But to appreciate how far we've already come.

A City Wakes Up

There is something special about a city before it fully wakes.

The streets are quieter.

The morning light feels softer.

The world seems to slow down just enough for you to notice the little things.

Today, that place is our home: Leicester

Not because it's the biggest city.

Not because it's the most famous.

But because this is where our story began.

Long before there were tours...

Long before there were chapters...

Long before there was a Global Village...

There was simply an idea.

An idea that people from different backgrounds could build something meaningful together.

Looking Back Before Moving Forward

This week reminded me that growth rarely happens all at once.

It happens in conversations.

In moments.

In small decisions that don't always seem important at the time.

One person joins the Tribe.

Another books their first tour.

Someone introduces themselves at Friendly Fridays.

A new friendship begins.

A chapter is published.

A dream takes one more step towards becoming reality.

Each moment might seem small on its own.

Together, they're building something extraordinary.

Brick by brick.

Story by story.

Week by week.

The Village is already taking shape.

A Reflection for This Week

Sometimes it's easy to focus on how much further there is to go.

I do it too.

There are still dreams to build.

Places to explore.

Communities to grow.

But today, I'm choosing gratitude.

Gratitude for every person who's believed in this vision.

Gratitude for every conversation we've shared.

Gratitude for every message of encouragement.

Gratitude for every member who's decided to become part of this journey.

None of it is taken for granted.

Because communities aren't built by one person.

They're built by people choosing, week after week, to show up for one another.

Looking Ahead

Tomorrow, we begin another week.

Another opportunity to welcome someone new.

Another chance to explore.

To connect.

To grow.

The story continues.
