Why I Built the Tribe: A Journey of Belonging, Travel, and Vision

Greetings Tribe, 

Before there was a name, a logo, or a website, there was a feeling I couldn’t shake. 

A feeling that there should be a space where people who look like me could explore the world together. A space where we’re not the exception in the room, where our joy isn’t muted, and where our stories are centred, not squeezed in at the edges. 

Tribe of Travelers didn’t start as a business idea. 

It started as a question: 

“What would it look like if we built our own Global Village?”

Today’s article is my answer to that question - the story of why I built the Tribe, what it means to me, and the vision I see when I look at all of you.
