Friendly Fridays is back — and this month, the microphone is open. 🎤✨

Friday's finished.

Work is done.

Now come grab a drink, meet some new people and spend the evening with the Tribe.

Friendly Fridays: Open Mic Night is an easy-going adults-only social evening built around conversation, connection and local voices.

You don't have to perform.

You don't have to arrive with a group.

And you definitely don't need to know anyone before you walk through the door.

Come straight from work, head to the bar, find a seat and settle into the evening.

We'll take care of the introductions. 💛

🌍 The Evening Begins at 5:00 PM

The bar opens at 5:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to arrive, grab a drink and decompress from the week.

We'll begin with a light Friendly Fridays icebreaker before moving into our hosted Social Mixer — a relaxed, speed-meeting-style experience designed to help you actually meet the people in the room.

No awkward networking.

No dating-event pressure.

Just short conversations, a few laughs and an easier way to turn strangers into familiar faces.

You don't need to be a professional performer.

This isn't an audition.

It's a community microphone.

If you've got something you'd like to share, we'd love to hear it.

And if your contribution to the evening is sitting back with your drink and cheering somebody else on?

That counts too.

💛 More Than an Open Mic

Friendly Fridays isn't meant to be a nightclub or a formal networking event.

Think of it as the appetiser before the rest of your Friday night.

Drop in after work.

Have a drink.

Meet somebody new.

Stay for the Open Mic.

Then at 10:00 PM, you can continue your night somewhere else — or head home knowing you actually did something with your Friday evening.

Come alone or bring a friend.

Either way, we'll make the introduction.

🏆 A Little Friendly Competition

We'll still have a little Friendly Fridays fun along the way, including a prize during the evening and our Members-Only Raffle.

Nothing complicated.

Just a little something extra while we enjoy the night together.

The African Caribbean Centre bar will be open throughout most of the evening.

Bar closes at 9:30 PM.

Tribe Members can claim one complimentary ticket through their eligible membership.

Spaces are limited, so advance booking is recommended.
